Nostradamus Prophecy.
A1998 documentary on Nostradamus' prophecies, containing various quality newsreel footages of his 'hits and misses'. The video also contains A second documentary, with an excellant commentary on prophets and visionaries over the past few centuries and their insights, predictions, warnings and hopes for the future. The first is a 58 minute 1994 documentary on Nostradamus himself and interpretations of his prophecies, containing various quality newsreel footages of his 'hits and misses'. The second documentary is from The Nine channel Australia and lasts a very interesting 87 minutes, with an excellant commentary on prophets and visionaries over the past few centuries and their "insights, predictions, warnings and hopes for the future". Both are very engrossing and entertaining, and are an excellant addition to any video documntary library.
He predicted World War II, the deaths of Presidents and the turmoil of the 1960s. He prophesied that Israel would become a state fifteen years before the event, and foretold the Great Depression. Many of his visions that seemed to pass unfulfilled are now being proven accurate. His name is Edgar Cayce and to many, he is known as the other Nostradamus. Throughout the 1930s and 1940s, Cayce was a well-known figure in America, known for his "healing abilities" as well as his prophecies. Cayce's predictions are documented in the transcriptions of his readings, which he gave until his death in 1945. The Other Nostradamus looks at Cayce's life and prophecies - those that have come true as well as those that have not.

 Nostradamus (1503-1566) Nostradamus, (1503-1566), French physician and astrologer who wrote Centuries, a famous collection of prophecies published in 1555. The prophecies in Centuries appear in four-line rhyming verses called quatrains. In vague language, they describe events from the mid-1500s through the end of the world, which is predicted to come in ad3797. Many people have interpreted the prophecies in Centuries, connecting certain ones with events that have taken place since Nostradamus's time. The name Nostradamus is a Latin name he used in place of his original name, Michel de Nostredame. Nostradamus was born in Saint Remi, in southern France. He studied medicine in Montpellier, and started a practice about 1525. Soon after, he began to treat victims of the plague in communities of southern France. Nostradamus used innovative methods of treatment, and his success in curing extremely ill patients earned him a reputation as a specially gifted healer. About 1550, Nostradamus moved to Salon, where he began to write his prophecies. The publication of Centuries increased his fame, bringing many people to visit him in Salon during the rest of his life. Catherine de Medicis, queen of France, asked him to plot the horoscopes of her husband, King Henry II, and their children. In 1560, King Charles IX of France appointed Nostradamus court physician. He's father was a medic, but the most important person in he's life was he's grand father, who teach him: latinian, old greek, jewish, Cabala, Old and New Testament and he's first initiations in astrology. Nostradamus went to Medicine University at the age of 18, but he finished in 1533. Got married at the age of 30 and he had two children, but he's happiness was for a short time, because he's wife and children died in a big plague Traveled al over the country for 8 years long; then he stopped at d'Orval monastery where he wrote he's first important manuscript "The Prophecies of a lonely man".
